Community Family Club
The club provides learning, communication and fun for the entire family through planned activities. Come enjoy free food and fellowship with families from your community. Native Nations Youth Council
Monthly Meetings held on the third Wednesday of the month. Dinner Meeting with the Tulsa Indian Community Advisory Team from 6-7 pm. Drum Group Practice from 7-8 pm. Winter Stomp Dance and Community Meal
Save the Date for a Free Traditional New Year's Gathering - Saturday January 21, 6-10 pm. In the event of bad weather, the event will be held January 28. Location TBA. Health and Wellness Class Schedules
Discovering Diabetes
Wednesdays 2-4 pm. Classes are held at IHCRC main clinic Wellness Kitchen, 550 S. Peoria Avenue, Tulsa. Please pre-register by calling 918-382-2222. Classes are taught by IHCRC Wellness staff members Karen Rodgers, RD/LD, Diabetes Dietitian, Gabrielle Taylor RD/LD, Diabetes Dietitian, and Stacy Berg, LPC, Diabetes Case Manager. We will present information and hands-on activities for any patient that wants to learn about pre-diabetes, risk factors for diabetes, or learning how to manage life with diabetes.

Kid's Cooking 101

Tobacco Cessation
HCRC main clinic Wellness Kitchen, 550 S. Peoria. The IHCRC Health and Wellness Department offers a six-week smoking cessation class. We ask participants to attend all six sessions. Interested participants are eligible to receive Chantix nicotine replacement therapy patches if they attend at least four of the six sessions. (Tuesdays at 4 pm) IHCRC is now holding free classes for expectant parents offering advice about good prenatal health and caring for their newborn. Free one-hour classes are held in the Board Conference Room, 550 S. Peoria. Healthy refreshments are served. Traditional Native American Parenting
(2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 2 pm) Immediately following the Nurturing Families Talks a Native American Parenting class will offer lessons about traditional approaches to childrearing. These free classes will provide practical guidance on how to combine traditional and modern parenting methods. The free one-hour Casses will be held in the Behavioral Health Group Room at 550 S. Nurturing Families Talks
(1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 1 pm) The free one-hour talks are held in the Middle Multi Purpose Room, 550 S. Peoria. The informal Nurturing Families sessions provide new or expectant parents with an opportunity to gain practical information about parenting and child care resources that is available at our clinic and in the general community. Expectant parents, single moms, grandparents and other family relatives are all welcome. Child care and refreshments are provided and often door prizes too.
